Join Smart Tours at the 15th Annual Tamworth Country Music Festival where various venues thoughout the City are taken over for the Country Music Festival which includes the main street featuring buskers, registered clubs, hotels, outside concerts in the parks, shopping centres and the Tamworth Town Hall, featuring the country's top stars. The Festival incorporates over 800 events and 6,000 hours of live music, and most of them are free. You can be guaranteed that your favourite style of country music will be heard, and of course, there's the line dancing.

THE RODEO Bucking bulls, battle-scarred cowboys and rodeo clowns as well as Country Music Entertainment will be part of the action at the Tamworth Pro Rodeo Chute Out. The event is a full championship rodeo and features Australia's leading cowboys and best bucking stock in bull-riding, saddle riding, bareback, calf-roping, steer wrestling and team roping.

Day 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 ,& 9 breakfast only, will be provided in the dinning room at "Farrer"

Tickets for the Golden Guitar Awards and the rodeo nights are not included in tour cost. As these 2 events are very popular you will need to purchase early, prior to arriving in Tamworth.

DAY 1 Saturday (Lunch Dinner)

Depart Warrnambool KFC Corner Raglan Pde 5:30 a.m. travelling via Melbourne and Shepparton to West Wyalong where we will spend our first night.

DAY 2 Sunday (Breakfast)

After breakfast depart Motel arriving mid afternoon in Tamworth. Settle in to our accommodation at the Farrer Agricultural High School.
Late afternoon you will be taken on one of Neil's quick tours of Tamworth.

DAY 3 Monday (Breakfast)

This morning we will visit Tamworth Tourist Information Centre for a welcome by a Tourist Officer. The rest of the day you will be free to enjoy the many attractions of the festival.

DAY 4 Tuesday (Breakfast)

Again, another great day to enjoy buskers, entertainment and line dancing.

DAY 5 Wednesday (Breakfast)

Today is a big day, with 2 major events:

This Morning, the Tamworth Country Music Cavalcade. No festival is complete without a parade and when all the colour and excitement of Country Music can be brought together in a huge street procession, it becomes an experience that's hard to beat.
Around 30,000 people flock to Peel Street to watch the spectacular floats listen to bands and enjoy the celebration of Tamworth and Country Music.

Evening, The Toyota Country Music's Awards of Australian. Australian Country Music's leading entertainers will join together for one huge show at this year's Toyota Country Music Awards of Australia. A number of awards will be presented, amongst them Male and Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year,
Top-Selling Recording of the Year and an award for Video Track of the Year.

DAY 9 Sunday (Breakfast Dinner)

This morning we pack up and start our journey home taking with us memories of a great time at Tamworth

From Narrandera we continue south along the Newell and Hume Highways to Melbourne, then to Warrnambool, arriving approximately 5:30 p.m. ending a memorable trip to Australia's greatest Country Music Festival.
